Technical Draughtsman

We are looking for a Technical Draughtsman to join our engineering department.
The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings for the manufacture of power transmission equipment in the industrial field.

They will work in close contact with the Sales Department, Project Managers, Production and Quality.

Main responsibilities

  • Preparation of 2D and 3D detailed technical drawings and FEM analysis.
  • Translation of technical requirements and project specifications into manufacturing drawings.
  • Drafting and updating of technical documentation.
  • Cooperation with the various company departments, in particular with production and quality control.
  • Checking the consistency between the technical drawings and the manufactured parts.
  • Support in managing the activities of the engineering department and in the continuous improvement of company processes.

Requirements:

Soft skills:

Technical skills:

  • Technical secondary school diploma / three-year degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Excellent knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, CATIA).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and the relevant standards.
  • Previous experience in the role and in the mechanical engineering / plant sector is an advantage.
