History and innovation

Founded in 2011, the company stems from the long experience of its founding partners, with the aim of renewing a long-established sector such as that of mechanical power transmission equipment.

These components, essential in many industrial plants, are now designed by GGT with innovative technologies and calculation systems that make them unique products, perfectly suited to a range of applications.

Thanks to a major initial commitment, as early as 2014 the production centre in the Asti area expanded its relationships with the Asian, Middle Eastern and South American markets.

In 2018 GGT grew in size through a new plant building and an ever stronger export focus. Today the company exports around 85% of its products worldwide, mainly to non-EU countries, and has its own subsidiary in India.

The awards

For its ambitious vision and global success, GGT received the FT 1000: Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies 2021 recognition, as one of the European companies with the highest growth rate. It was also awarded during the Le Fonti Awards® 2021 and 2023 editions, in the Innovation & Leadership category. The factors behind these awards are based on GGT’s strengths: a highly qualified team, state-of-the-art production facilities and patents for “green” technology, which ensures a lower environmental impact.

International partnerships

The company’s growth, which develops together with its customers’ projects, is not limited to Italy. From its operational site in Baldichieri d’Asti, over the years GGT has expanded a worldwide network of relationships. 

Operating according to the international ISO 9001:2015 standard, GGT products have reached more than 20 countries, mainly in Europe, Asia, America and Africa, gaining product references among the leading players worldwide.

To build new global partnerships and address expanding markets, the company is developing its sales network in China and in 2022 founded GGT India Private LTD.
